Abstract

This is the first of two issues of the Vietnam Journal of Mathematics dedicated to Tamás Terlaky on the occasion of his 70th birthday. 11 papers are presented in this publication, Issue 3 of Volume 53. The others will be presented in Issue 4 of Volume 53. All the papers of these two issues were rigorously peer reviewed. We thank the authors and the reviewers for their contribution.
