Abstract
Most of us reading this book know Professor Judit Simon personally. Those who have not met her yet hopefully will be as lucky as we are and may have the chance to get to know her. Judit Simon graduated in 1974 from the former Karl Marx University of Economics. She has been working as a docent at our university since 1989. She was the director of the Institute of Marketing and Media (currently Institute of Marketing) between 2008 and 2016. One of the most important pillars of her educational activity was launching and continuously developing the course of ’Marketing research and market analysis’ (former ’Quantitative technics of marketing research’) and promoting the use of SPSS. Professor Simon is also the co-author of Naresh K. Malhotra’s marketing research book. Not only the Hungarian translations but also Hungarian case studies and status reports were added by her to the domestic edition. (...)
