Kálvin János és a reformáció jelentősége a mai közgazdasági gondolkodásban = The Significance of Jean Calvin and the Protestant Reformation on the Modern Economic Thinking

Abstract

Isten és ember kapcsolatáról nagyon nehéz az ember és ember közötti kapcsolat nélkül beszélni, mivel összeköti őket a Nagyparancsolat. Így a reformátoroknak beszélniük kellett az utóbbiról; azért is, mert kérdezték őket. Az adott válaszokban, értekezéseikben természetesen megjelennek gazdasági, munkaügyi, pénzügyi vonatkozásúak is. A hitelezés elveiről, a fogyasztási kölcsönről, konkrét gazdaságpolitikai lépésekről igen határozott véleményeket, javaslatokat fogalmaztak meg, illetve vezettettek be, különösen Kálvin Genfb en. Téziseik 500 év után is aktuálisak és megfontolásra érdemesek. = It’s so hard to talk about the relationship between God and the man without the relationship among the people since they are united by the Great Commandment. Th e Reformers must talk about the latter as well since they were asked. In their answers appered some economic, labour and fi nancial questions as well. Th ey conceived explicit opinion and recommendation about the principles of borrowing, the consumption loans and other questions of economic policy, what is more actions were introduced by them, especially by Calvin in Geneva. Aft er 500 years their thesis are actual and worth considering nowadays as well.
