Abstract

Az Európai Parlament az egyik fő döntéshozó szerve az Európai Uniónak. Az EP-ben a politikai csoportok a legfőbb aktorok, amelyek befolyásolni képesek a döntéshozó folyamatokat. A kutatás célja, hogy bemutassa a politikai csoportok tevékenységét és szerepét az EP ezen folyamataiban. A politikai csoportok elmúlt 12 évének (2009-2021) koalícióépítési statisztikáinak és csoportkohéziós adatainak felhasználásával összehasonlításra kerül a jelenlegi EP ciklus az ezt megelőző két lezárt ciklussal (2009-2019). = The European Parliament (EP) is a crucial institution in the decision-making system of the European Union. Inside the EP, the political groups are the core political actors which could form the decision-making system. This research aims to shed some light on the activity of the political groups and their roles within the EP. The research uses coalition-building strategy and group cohesion data from the last 12 years (2009-21) to compare the current term of the EP to the previous two (2009-19).
