Abstract

In our study we analyse the knowledge and behaviour of Hungarian, Slovakian and Austrian university students related to loans. On the one hand we were curious if those students who have repayable loans know more than those who do not. Our second question was directed at whether the COVID-19 pandemic caused a change in the knowledge and behaviour of the students. According to our results, financial literacy is primarily determined by the students’ specialty at the university. But there is some detectible change in everyone.
